Yawning release

Yawning is an involuntary reflex that has different nuances. People yawn a few times a day without being aware of it. It usually happens when they’re tired or bored. Other reasons for spontaneous yawning include balancing blood gases or equalizing ear pressure. Yawning also stretches the lungs. When feeling like yawning, avoid suppressing it and try to let it go all the way, including vocalizing the exhale.

Similar to smiling and laughing, yawning is contagious. When seeing others yawn, social mirroring often occurs. Try to activate your breathing muscles in the same way that you would during spontaneous yawning.
