Breathing preparations for extreme stress, depression, or anxiety

A follow-up to the talk “How to breathe when experiencing extreme stress, depression, or anxiety.”

Exercising a combination of the five relaxation methods suggested at the talk.

In a single breathing cycle:

  1. Synchronizing smiles to the breath
  2. Extending the exhale using a Mantra
  3. Nose breathing with added humming or hissing
  4. Diaphragmatic breathing 360 degrees
  5. Breath slowdown / Breath holding

Practicing going through the motions and maintaining the right timing.
